No Fullscreen Mode

Windows 7 64-bit OS, open the game and it opens with a "cannot enter full-screen mode" error. I can't move the screen around, and cannot start the game. I click New Game and then there's....something else at the very bottom I can't get to because my taskbar's in the way. Suggestions?

Run %AppData% go to the Nucleosys\Scratches Director's Cut folder. Edit scream.cfg, theres a line: fullscreen, set it to 1. Editing the cfg inside SteamApps folder don't work

tried to mess with resolution but didnt work. i have fullscreen but I cant minimize the game

Old message, but if anybody else is still trying to figure it out, I had the same problem. Fixed it by opening the .cfg file above and changing "RATE" to match my actual display refresh rate.

Thank you guys, worked for me on Windows 11. RATE was 60 and changed it to my display's Hz. That's it.

Hi, I've encountered the same problem. In my case (for some reason) I solved it by changing the DEPTH value to 32.
