Activation Key / Rollercoaster Ride?

Hi all. Any hints on where to find the automaton activation key in the amusement park? The place is a bit of a pain to navigate and I feel like I've maybe missed something obvious.

I've been fooling around with the rollercoaster cart, too, but without much success. The game seems to indicate there is something at three of the possible stopping points (21, 35 and 40), but I fail to see anything of interest. Any help would be appreciated.

You get the key after you meet the sporty maam, she gives you. And she lives where you get to the right spot with the cart. So you need two metal stick for it. Ther may be a bug?

Right on those tracks there should be a cart!

I am talking about the huge wheel with the cabins! I first connected the ship to the park, then added the cog to the wheel mechanism, and then activated it! Then I picked the metal bar in the corner near the door and the statue without head, then went upstairs and saw the broken cart, but upstairs there is supposed to be another cart on the tracks that doesn't spawn for me!

But you need power from the ship. Also you need oscar to ride the car (in the picture you sent above) to activate the huge fun wheel. After activating it collapses also. Its strange that theres no another cart on the upstairs. Have you checked the map in the right cabin? Maybe it becomes activated after something.

The power is activated as I said millions of times already! Don't you see that the lights in the park are turned on? My problem is that there is no cart! What map? The one in the cabin with Hanses tools? I've been there many times looking at the map with the numbersm the stuff written there 25+15 is about the cart that doesn't spawn for me!

Anyway, i didnt get how you activated the power without oscar so i give up!:) really confused..

It's easy - just connected the cables to the ship and that's how you activate the power to the park! Even when I talk to the youkol who activated the cables he says, that there is light now, and now I should return to the park!

Oh, okay, i did it after oscar, tought that they were connected situations..

Well the way I did it was this: Picked the goggles, saw the radiation, got the hook and dragged the attached cables down, got the key from the cart on the bay, then opened Hanses box with the tools, picked them up, opened the automaton, placed the heart, but failed to connect it, then I logged off, and next time I logged in I was unable to load my save! AFter one day struggling I found a solution to load the save again - by changing the image quality of the game, now it is fixed! Then I logged in, and Oscar's heart was again in my inventory but the key to opening Oscar was gone, and I am unable to open him again. Then I went to the park picked the COG from the box and the metal plate, placed the cog on the wheel, went back to the boat, activated the power, spoke to the youkol, returned to the park, explored the second floor, turned the wheel a few times without nothing happening, and this is pretty much where I am stuck at! I see ppl have a second cart up there, and I don't!

So theres no key to openin oscar in your inventory and no key also in the hans box? Where did it go? Tried openin his chest by hand cos once you used the key it opens by hand too. If the action also vanished with the key then good luck

After placing the heart it also needs a key to activate and it is given by the lady i mentioned before and you reach her with the cart that youre missing

There is no interaction button! Before the game started making problems with the saves it was perfectly fine! I can inspect Oscars number, and zoom in but when I zoom in I am unable to open him!
I've returned many times to the room with the tools, clicking on the toolbox and Kate says what she always says when clicking on the box. The Key is inside actually, because the first time I picked the tools, the tools disappeared from the box and I even have it recorded, but now when I return the key is visually inside the box, but it cannot be picked up!

In this video you see me picking the tools for the first time, after picking them, the bottom of the box is empty! Now if I go back and lok in the box the key is visibly there although I have already used it before the game started having unending loading screens and problems with loading my save!

JMynce: it very much sounds like you're screwed :( The missing rollercoaster cart should appear automatically (there is a little cutscene) after tinkering with Oscar. Maybe you should ask around if somebody has a save game from around that spot? I can send you mine, but you'll miss a bit of content (the cart puzzle and meeting with a new NPC).

Here is a screenshot with the box now, as you can see visually the tools are still inside! :D http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=910620959 And I already have them in my inventory! And in the video link I sent you can see me picking them up for the first time too! :D But the key to opening Oscar is gone.

Well where should I place the save game then? I've actually been searching where the game stores it's save and I couldn't find!
Maybe if I find the save directory I might be able to back it up to previous point! But that's why I don't understand why the third game doesn't have manual save as additional option! All Syb games had manual saves, This is why you never have only auto save, with manual save I'd have saved and restarted, now when the game breaks it is impossible to continue, and I have to start from the very begining....
PS. BTW I've read a lot of ppl complain from the keyboard and mouse controls, that on consoles connecting the cables to Oscar's heart is easy while on PC the cables doesn't seem to attach properly and indicate they are attached! This is practically what happened to me too! I would place the cable, it would stand but without indicating, and the other cable just wouldnt attach!
