I can't click anything :(

For some reason, I can't open doors, engage with people or objects. All I can do is walk/run and move into different areas but that's it. I'm on the ship with the captain and I need to complete the ice breaker task.

I have the same problem; additionally there is no more sound in the game, although the sound is operating in the menu. I also tried to reload the game frome the menu without improvement.

Farinelli, this actually just happened to me and the other day it was fine. The patches they have released have really helped the game quite a bit. I did buy it when it first came out and the gaming experience was terrible (they didn't even have point and click capability yet). I think most of us agree that they rushed this one and didn't work out the kinks which is unfortunate since the other games were so outstanding. I do love it though and would still buy the next one if they are making another one.

Patrick, yes! I kind of have sound but it's not so good. However,if I walk past any of the Youkols, they do make passing comments. So odd!

Is the game good playable with the new point and click? Or is it also a poor made control?

I have no comment from the Youkols; I am in the park of Baranour; it worked fine the first time I went there; but now, I have no interaction; also there is no white dot to indicate an action , either with the Youkols, or with objects like doors.

Farinelli, this is a problem that just popped up. But as you see others are playing the game just fine so it might just be something on my end.

UPDATE: playing the game as I am posting this, The clickable spots problem is still a thing. I got to the Youkol village for the first time where you need a pass and the areas to click on just vanish. they need to fix this!!

I'm in the exact same spot and can't do anything, can't pick up the matches, talk to people, interact with the control panels or go outside. Reloading doesn't help. Did somebody find a solution?

First, check for game file integrity. Click on the GEAR to the far right of the green PLAY button. Then click properties/installed files. Then click on "Verify integrity of game files". Problems with missing or corrupt files will be fixed.

If no problems are detected and Syberia 3 is up to date then a ticket can be issued to Microids for problems such as these. See

As they say, DxDiag should be run and DxDiag.txt saved and attached to the problem description.

To run DxDiag, press the windows key + R. Then type DxDiag. you can go through all the tabs but click on Save All Information and save DxDiag.txt to the Desktop so it can be easily attached to the ticket request.

All this assumes that the PC is OK.
1) Run from a command prompt Dos box sfc /scannow and reboot if problems are found but first
2) Run chkdsk C: /f to check the hard drive. It can't run then so say Y and then reboot. Details on how to do these things can be found with a browser search entry.
3) Less probable but a memory test can be run to verify RAM is good.
4) Run some kind of PC cleaner like Wise 365, CCleaner or Advanced System Care to get rid of useless crud and eliminate registry errors. (Use the free versions).

Syberia 3 is quite quirky so players should be saving their game positions every half hour or so, or at convenient story points, preferable just after seeing the rotating gears when the save position is updated. Details on how to do this are in this guide:

Hopefully, something here will work to allow the game to be continued and finished.

Hi, tried to load the game over and over, same situation, couldn't click anything.
For me worked like this: started a new fresh game, did everything to interact until I could load a game. Loaded automatic game saved from previous instance. Everything works now. However, this is the worst Adventure game played. Should be removed from Steam, or should be free with *worst character movement issues in all adventure games.
