Ok, we need to clear something about the game's story, please.

Hey guys ! I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed this but maybe some of you can get answers.
If you all remember Syberia II's end, Kate went after Hans to explore Syberia with him. But in the begining of the game the Youkols find her in Russia. So... What ??? And Kate doesn't know what happen and how she ended up here? What????? This begining is totally erasing the end of Syberia II. We all know that you need a boat to do the travel between Syberia and Russia. So what happened to Hans? How did Kate ended up back in Russia? It's not logical at all. I'm lost. It's like Benoit Sokal didn't even write the story or totally forgot the end of the game he did?
If anyone has answers to those questions, please share. I NEED ANSWERS.

I hated that part too, it's like they were too lazy to actually continue the original story!
They included oscar, because, you know, he's lovable, but no word about hans and his whereabouts. the story of S1 and S2 was (mostly) lovely and sensitive, but this one is like straight out of a badly written hollywood movie.

There was a word about Hans and his fate. Cantine accused Kate of Hans' death, which most likely means that Hans is dead. My version of what happened? Hans went away with mammoths, happily died among them some time after and what Kate would do next on Syberia? Try to return home, of course. She got a boat, went back but suffered shipwreck and that's when Youkols find her. And there's where the story of Syberia 3 begins.
I agree that I wish to see more of what happened between Syberia 2 and 3, though.

I agree to. It could be there was no wreck. She took a small boat back and that was a bit too nervy in Siberia.
What I wonder about is frost bite on extremeties. She should have thick gloves and head protection. As she was found, she should have no fingers, no nose or ears, and maybe no feet.
