I HAVE SEARCHED FOR AN HOUR TO FIND SOME WAYS .BUT I FAILED ...

You need to find a flare, it's somewhere on the deck, AFAIR.

There's a box under one of the benches inside the ship. Take the flare from the box and use it on the remaining light.

how do you smash the lights? i cannot find an object to do this

On the right side of the outer ship is a crate with a crowbar on top. Use that.

I did this and nothing happened! And now my flare is gone and I can't find another one!

you need to reload the game - it's a bug, I had that too. when you got the flare and a crowbar and come to this light - click on it, Kate says she can't come closer then use flare and don't do anything but click on the light again - she should break it.
