Genesis / Mega Drive ROM?

Will buyers receive the rom for playing the game on original hardware too if they buy the game on Steam?

It's separate. You could always just get the megadrive version and emulate it on PC, but it won't be 100% exactly the same visually. They had to cut a few minor things the original hardware couldn't handle.

I have my switch hooked up to a CRT monitor via a converter; and I get all my retro indie games for it.

That's lame. They didn't even add it to on Steam - I wish the MD rom was a DLC pack for the main game, free or paid.

I don't think Steam accepts games for the Mega Drive.

Yes they do. Look at Tanglewood or a number of PICO Interactive games (Bubsy, Jim Power etc). Steam DLC can be anything - sound or video files, PDF documents, game roms, anything really.

Well, Super 3D Noah's Ark and Micro Mages contain the (S)NES Rom in the Steam Purchase.

My Reply is late to the Party, but maybe with some Posts of these the Developer will add the Rom :) ?
