Hi Delvelings!

I just wanted to drop in and say a HUGE THANK YOU for playing Dwarf Delve upon launch yesterday; I've been slowly reading through ALL the feedback, as well as chatting with you all over on Discord. As I'm just a solo dev, I haven't quite been everywhere as quickly as I would have liked (cries).

To that end, more than a few of you have reported the Vitality drain at a base level, is REALLY brutal.

I agree. So, to that end, I've just posted a Hotfix that should alleviate the grindy/frustrating nature of the current amount of Mining allowed.

This is all very new to me; so as I make my way to getting through all of the current negative issues and on to delivering the first substantial update (there'll be a proper video about that next week), I'd kindly request that you join the Discord, as I'm always online there and can be reached instantly!

Don't waste your time (WARNING)

Look, this game has not been improved or changed since the very first demo. There's no point in posting to complain, as the developer has never replied to a single post, or taken any feedback to improve anything about the game. The reports of the mouse sensitivity were all over here after the first demo, but you see nothing has changed. Don't waste your time or your money on this game....

You can tell there was obviously a lot of love and care put into this but right now I can't recommend it.

The controls are not that great, the game is not explained well (for example, you can find items in chests below ground but I have no idea how to secure them for extraction or what they are even used for), there is a lot of idle time while your character is just waiting for the next thing to happen (long elevator sequences, collecting mail is painfully slow).

I went on a fresh delve, mined one node before my dwarf became totally exhausted, and then the next swing he passed out and I lost my gear. If the early game is supposed to be slow and frustrating, collecting one ore per delve, then mission accomplished I guess lol.

I will try again to see if maybe I am missing something and it clicks, but the new player experience is pretty rough.

Gloom has the bones in place for something that will be very cool if work on it continues, but in this stage it needs QoL improvements and an enhanced onboarding experience to get it going.

Had this one on my wishlist for a while. Unfortunately at the state right now its unplayable. Unoptimised and the gameplay loop is extremely tedious. I know its a solo dev, so I hope they consider updating the game and making it more enjoyble

This looks really cool, but right now, it's a hard no. Controls are not explained well, terrible optimization, gameplay loop is hard to get into due to the fact that you have to spend most of the time figuring out how to even get started. I might come back to this in the future, but right now it's not even worth the $10.39. I know the dev is making this solo, but this is a good example of why some games should be delayed from releasing instead of forcing it into early access so we can pay for the dubious privilege of playtesting.

The game State is very hard right now we all know it but it is a Gem and we have to polished it . Remember one guy work on it All Day pay Some respekt. First of All He fix it fast and Take Feedback sryls Keep this in mind before you hate it

Vitality?!

Okay, so i tried out the demo today... i bought the game because well give it a shot. Well there is one thing i dont understand.. Why dosnt my vitality bar fill up all the way after i have slept? only thing i can do when im down mining is to get 1 ore! Is this how it should be?.. of so.. damn this will take a long time.....

After playing for around 4 hours, I have encountered a number of bugs that I am going to list below. I'll try to include as much information as possible about what I was doing when these bugs occurred.
