Candy cane
How do I get rid of the christmas candy cane weapon? It's breaking the immersion and I really don't like it (also, how do I pick up other weapons?)

+ all the other Christmas stuff, how does one deactivate that?

There's a christmas tree ball icon in the main menu, right on top of the other options. If you select it you can switch the christmas-themed changes off.

(Didn't notice it myself when I started playing last night and was surprised by all that x-mas stuff, but then I got curious today and figured it could be switched off.)

(figured out one can but pick up new weapons a bit into the game)
