Agree with this a lot. I started out on M&K and got so angry at the controls that I grabbed my controller after about 30 minutes of dealing with the ♥♥♥♥ camera. Controller is ok but it's not great. Really hope they work on the camera angle and controls in general.
Agreed with pretty much everything you said. It's been a really big disappointment thus far.
I think I'm most surprised by just how underwhelming the combat feels. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think the lack of feedback (for both dishing out damage and taking it) is one of the major culprits. The clunky M&KB controls certainly don't help matters. Playing with a controller is slightly better, but even then I find that the button layout is awkward.
