also the controls sucks in general
I've had so much shots wasted thinking I was making a dash but turns out I was firing.
Also akin to Mr.Glass's comment, if you're using a controller then yes, you go STRAIGHT UP, if you use a keyboard, holding Up makes you go Up and to the Right akin to the camera angle, in hotline miami, moving up meant you moved actually up, not up with a slight angle, as for difficulty, i personally think its a great middle ground even on hard.
You're obviously playing with a gamepad.
With M&KB, W goes northeast and S goes southwest. It's clunky and unintuitive as hell.
KB/M works beautifully.
Suggestion for the developers and what they could do next time: Make the guns more impactful, make the gore more visceral, let the civilians get domed in the crossfire, get rid of the "enemies filter into this arena section in waves" nonsense, and stop splashing the same repetitive graphic on my screen to remind me of the objective every 5 seconds.
Basically, the gameplay isn't good enough to justify the really weak presentation, and the really weak presentation can't mask the boring gameplay.
