Is this game even possible on Hard?

I've been playing over an hour and can't get passed the first level... Is this one of those games your supposed be beat on Easy or Normal first, and then do Hard upgraded or something? I play a lot of difficult games, but ♥♥♥♥ this.

F*ck, hard difficulty is bullsh*t. Especially the bosses.

Also all of you that say "it's not that hard" stop tryharding to sound cool.

Nerve is hard, but as someone said he can be beaten. Don't do straight up melee, shoot him from a distance, use the guns the drones drop and do quick melee when his sheild goes down. Died on him once, but once I learned his moves he was fairly easy to beat.

Stun grenade is still OP as F***. Max Out that,Overdrive,Life/Energy and Weapon Damage and you will steam roll through pretty much everything. I only go over to Barrier when facing Mother.

After all the feedback I guess it will be a good idea for people to ask for a new difficulty update that adds a new difficulty level to the game.

Beat it on hard after my first normal playthrough, that took 10 hours, the hard playthrough took 3-4. Doable after one playthrough.

So I've finally gotten to the first ANGEL part, and I've been stuck on it for like 40 minutes. Any tips?

Level with like 6 pods? Upgrade dash and hold it down (probs don't have to If you're that good). Teleport to the nearest pod/s you see. Use melee to take out the pods. During her zap attacks, stand to the right of the angel. That's her blindspot.Use heavy weaponry on angel. Repeat.Ez pz.

Don't, prioritize your shooting on angel. I think I had dash to level 4 at that point and I breezed through. You could start killing a few enemies, but don't focus too much on them. Flamethrower or any other weapon helps a whole bunch too. Just make it as through as fast possible.

Now how the ♥♥♥♥ do you kill him? I'm ready to break my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer in half, Ive been trying for so long.

Use OP shield dash strat. Place a sheild in front of him, dash back and foreword through the shield whilst shooting him down (can melee him as well with a stronger melee weapon as he's slowed down and a sponge at this stage). When the shield comes down, repeat from the top. Always try to use gift weapons. Remember holding down dash and plotting your steps is essential. This is the strategy I used in hard and i breezed through. Will use it in Speedrun and ng+. It's highly effective. Slows any and every enemy down. Use it to your advantage.

If you use all your points you're just a bullet sponge. For me Dash, Weapon and 'Left trigger' upgrades are essential. These are the first to upgrade to maximum. This makes you more versatile and lethal. This game does not allow damage tanking strats.
B-button upgrades are trash btw. Unless you have like 13 spare points to upgrade Ghost brake to maximum which makes you into a genocide machine but otherwise a waste of many points.
Slow-mo is also a gimmick. Best way to beat King is to take that HF-sword that is given right before his stage and just cirlce arround him while shooting those generators without escaping the center of arena. Once he falls after being electricuted charge your blade to take like half of his life-bar. Two sets like that and he's done. EZ
