That is a legitimate request to be put in the game. But.....on the other hand, I think there is some benefit for other players to have a 'break' in between levels. Some people I think could use a break between levels as sort of a breather, and it will help them out before having to crush out the next level.
As such, I don't think we will be making this change. Thanks anyways for your request though, I do appreciate your input.

1. The liftoff.
2. The level complete screen.
3. The score tally.
4. The pause on the score screen.
5. The splash screen for the next area.
6. Watching the next area be populated by gems.
That seems excessive. Step 3 can be skipped by clicking, and step 4 lets the player takes as much time as they need to prepare for the next area. I'd just want steps 1 and 2 to also be skippable by clicking.
