HUNTERVANIA – COMBAT, CORRUPTION & ATMOSPHERE UPDATE

This update focuses on improving weapon progression, combat clarity, late-game balance, Corruption choices, and main map.

WEAPONS & COMBAT

Completely rebuilt weapon system, added synergies

* Improved several weapon upgrade paths with more meaningful bonuses and stronger power spikes.

* Adjusted the effective range of the War Hammer, Pitchfork, and Scythe to better match their attack visuals.

* Improved Pitchfork targeting so it no longer attacks when no enemy can be hit.

* Expanded weapon synergy interactions, including Shard Harvest for the Grenade and Flying Blade.

* Improved visual feedback for special weapon effects, marks, embedded shards, and additional attacks.

*Added different font colors for different damage types

* Reviewed weapon tags and their interactions with Corruption upgrades.

* Pumpkin Lantern and Grenade are no longer treated as RANGED weapons and cannot incorrectly activate Ricochet.

* Improved the effective area of Toxic Cloud and aligned its visual effect with its actual damage radius.

CORRUPTION

* Shortened and clarified all Corruption card descriptions.

* Removed repeated MELEE/RANGE information when the compatible tags are already displayed on the card.

* Made HP sacrifice, Corruption cost, and incoming damage changes easier to read.

* Updated the descriptions in all supported languages.

* Corruption effects now interact more consistently with compatible weapon types and projectiles.

BALANCE

* Reduced the aggressive enemy movement-speed scaling after 25 minutes by 75%.

* Enemy speed still continues to increase during endless runs, but the growth is now more controlled.

* Perception books now grant +0.25% Critical Hit Chance instead of +0.5%.

ATMOSPHERE & VISUALS

* Added moving Particle System fog clouds around the map.

* Clouds gradually become transparent and disappear when moving over land.

* Fog now renders above world objects, characters, enemies, and chests while remaining below the UI.

* Improved the overall movement, layering, and shoreline behavior of the fog.

ACHIEVEMENTS & REWARDS

* The Treasure Goblin achievement now rewards a Rare Goblin Finger meta item.

* Achievement rewards are delivered directly to the player’s meta inventory.

* Added reward tooltips and clearer collected/completed states.

GENERAL

* Improved several card descriptions and translations.

* Fixed multiple inconsistencies between displayed weapon statistics, visual ranges, and actual gameplay behavior.

* Added additional combat and visual polish across weapons, synergies, and status effects.
