DLC REVIEW
DLC NOTE (6.5/10)
The DLC price is affordable.
The lack of new enemies is a bit disappointing.
I enjoyed the two new levels, Exploding Ants and Exploding Termites, on medium difficulty, so I was able to enjoy them, but the termite level is a copy of the jungle level from version 3.2. It has some bugs (the army ants don't retreat no matter how many you kill) and some development glitches (the narrator says, "The ants must fight"; they're termites). This makes me think the DLC hasn't been tested much. Also, it's not an early release; it's supposedly a finished DLC, but I assume they'll fix that in the future. As for story mode, I would have liked to be able to copy saved games or start a new one with the units I want to unlock without having to lose one of my New Game+ saves at 100% or having to start a new game, finish it, and then start New Game+. I've noticed that when starting a new game, you can buy explosive termites/ants and use them with royal jelly, but the soldiers of these species aren't available until the game is completed.
On the other hand, to pay the necessary amount of royal jelly, I would have to start New Game+ or play the same level about 50 times to avoid losing my nest and having to repeat it.

Thanks for reading.

For the next DLC/Update, I propose MESSOR.

The objective of No Ant's Land is surviving 4 days with much worst units, not pushing army ants back.
Exploding ant minor soldiers and exploding termite workers are main units with adaptations (similar to leafcutter ant majors and wood ant shooters) so they are playable right away. Side units (similar to leafcutter ant mediae or wood ant soldiers) will only be usable after you complete the story mode.
