Random Freeplay
I absolutely love the game.
The campaign/missinos are great, some extra levels are great (others just not my flavor, but nice that there are things for everyone).

The biggest annoyance (or maybe more a slight disappointment) I have is with the Freeplay though — it doesn't feel like replayability is that high.
The amount of maps are limited, which I is a bit sad but maybe understandable (It's been decades since I used any type of map editors so I have no idea how much work/time goes into making a decently balanced map nowadays).
But one thing I would expect to be a relatively quick addition, which would immensely help with replayability, is "random".
Random anything in the freeplay settings! Any choice you can make should be able to be randomised!

Choose amount of AI players -> "random"
Choose your/AI's ant type -> "random"
Choose environmental difficulty -> "random"
Choose map -> "random"
Difficulty over time; Nest Invasions; Attack waves; Uber creatures; Environmental creatures; Landmarks (not only placement); Even victory conditions -> anything being randomised would make freeplay more exciting.
Right now, just the fact that I *have* to choose my own ant type almost always has me default to one of the two same two types ("don't feel like this one," "these ones are meh" -> end up choosing the same ones again).

And while I don't really know the exact way the UI is programmed, it shouldn't be a difficult automation to catch and auto-fill any "random" variables between pressing "play level" and loading, it should just be the "Play Level button" first routing through a light automation layer (where it passes and checks all set options) before the next step?
