Phorid flies

so am i crazy or are phorid flies (the stage 3 challenge mode enemy) best left just ignored? it feels like the amount of time it takes to get tier 3 ants and the amount of time it takes those ants to clear the flies just doesnt justify bothering with it at all, it feels like the best strat for dealing with them is to just harvest places before they arrive or just tanking the loses

there are 2 ways to deal with them, and its entirely up tot he player to deal with them or not

either you can power through/ignore them, aka using level 3's to harvest safely or just sheer numbers and hope their impact is minimal...

or you create a core of like lvl 3s and slowly clear t hem out group by group

depending on difficulty it might not be viable but for an achievement you need to clear 4 of em out on a high difficulty

honestly its as you think, better to just power through/ignore them, but if your achievement hunting you need to clear them out...

alright thank you for confirming this, i felt like i was crazy for thinking that ignoring the mechanic would be the easiest solution
