The maximum Royal Jelly allowed is 2147483647 before the number becomes negative. If you collect even 1 more RJ while at the max 2147483647, the next number shown is negative and you cannot purchase anything any more. This is where a hard cap is needed to avoid ruining a game. The game should never be allowed to go above 2147483647 RJ and if it did to auto-fix it to the cap.
Maximum purchasable upgrades for an ant family is 148 before the RJ cost is a negative number for the 149th upgrade cost. Note that 2147483647 RJ will only buy 140 upgrades for any ant tech tree.
To go higher than 150 tech upgrades I needed the use of a memory debugger. But by cheating and going above the current possible limits I risked making the game crash prone or laggy.
So, they only affect the relevant ants in new game plus? Do they do ANYTHING in the first playthrough? Like for formacarium challenges for example?
