How do ants survive rain?

How do they survive rain and flooding? If it rains, the ground gets wet or floods. Thier homes are under ground in the dirt, so wouldnt they drown?

I certainly would! But I might be biased.

Currently you can expect 6-8 hours of playtime in its early access form - but more is on the way. The existing campaign mode isn't done yet, but it's soon to be joined by a Freeplay mode that will play differently every time you play it.

It has promise but not very much to it so far. The next missions in the formicariums should be sometime this summer according to the time line anyway. There was supposed to have been an update with a freeplay sandbox mode in Feb then postponed until March & then until when it's done. They've streamed some of the worth they have done on it but, honestly no idea when we'll see it.

What there is in the game is a lot of fun the missions have a good amount of depth and can be pretty challenging at first. The devs are a pretty open sort and they commicate on the forums answer questions etc. I don't know if it will have multiplayer or not but from the forums so far most of the people seem to be pretty decent folks.

Some ants build funnel nest entrances to prevent the nest from getting flooded, others (like fire ants and certain wood ant species) can make living rafts with their own bodies. Some also simply flee to higher ground.
