POPULATION LIMIT???

how come I have a population limit on my home formicarium??? I saw others play it but they don't have a limit, I can only get 50 ants in total. Please explain how to expand.

Just do some missions again, to collect some more resources so you can unlock more abilities for your ants. 50 is plenty, just unlock higher lvl ants and some abilities like dmg etc. Good thing about the game is that even if you fail, you still get some resources in the end. I unlocked lvl 3 ants, got some food so they can respawn quickly (like 750-1000)

I find the easiest way is to make sure the tunnel to your queen is kept restricted (also add the movement boost tile).

20 or so workers (even less is fine. Make sure some are left out of the groups so they can transport eggs. The rest as solders. Now as for tactics have a large stock pile of food a 1000 should be enough. if you're finding it hard Just keep the ants inside the nest when the fight starts. Keep solders in front, and workers in the back (two seperate groups). As long as your solders and workers are all upgraded it should be pretty easy at this point.

The formicarium stage challenges don't give enough loot for what the are and how hard they are.

You're only suppose to do them once, not twice.

just position all your soldiers inside by the entrance and have enough of food to spawn a couple then you should'nt loose thats how i did it

I personally like the mortars but my view is biased as I have not yet tried the fast shooter. In the other two levels you can now play you can pick ether one so it could be gold to test both see what you lile most. .

is that sadistic scientist going to follow the other one's instuctions instead of lying and KILLING MY WHOLE COLONY and then when i win, does he again lie to that other scientist?

The second, well it's pretty much the same kinda deal but the last part of the challenge is much much harder. Without giving it away, make sure to have some kinda defence near the queen...
