Are the extra songs used anywhere?

I noticed while listening to various songs in the options menu that there are quite a few I don't recognize as being used anywhere in the game. This is true for every song from 45 to 50 (and probably beyond but I haven't unlocked past 50 at the moment) as well as a few others. Some are remixes of songs from the main game while others are completely unrecognizable. Does anyone know if these are actually used somewhere or are they just bonus material?

Haven't unlocked that far yet, but I know there is a secret easter egg in-game that replace the soundtrack with some kind of alpha/MIDI version of it

You are totally correct! It seems that the songs from 47 onward are used during an easter egg run. It locks you into the A route all the way through but changes every single song along the way quite significantly. I love this so much! The remixes are all great.

(Spoilers about a semi-hidden thing)
I also noticed that things seemed harder than normal but I could have just been playing badly or something. Notably the teddy bear final boss seemed more difficult than usual. I remember in the old version of the game the final boss of the ultimate boss rush was an upgraded version of the teddy bear but I haven't unlocked that in this version just yet. I wonder if the easter egg allows you to fight that version of the boss in the main game. It also might have just been harder because my rank was close to 400 which doesn't usually happen.

If anyone is interested in activating the easter egg, you just sit still during the first mini boss and after a few seconds it will die and the music will change
