Any chance for a vulkan backend (unity/unreal/etc)? (I run elf/linux)

Unfortunately we have no plans for this support in near or far future due to engine limitations.

A custom bespoke C++ engine. The backend would have to be written from scratch basically

allright, then you would have to design and write the runtime tables of functions for 3D API abstractions. Yeah, this is significant code and redesign if not planned right from the start.

I did a full run of Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo v. 2.0 today on Steam running on openSUSE Leap 15.5. No problems whatsoever.
