It's a Memorial Edition: no porn, but Tomoya is voiced. I prefer this version to the Perfect Edition (with porn, but without Tomoya's voice).

Porn in Tomoyo After is redundant and looks out of place, moreover it ruins the story and the characters.

When I played this game awhile back I can kind of remember pity sex at some point. It was years ago though so I can't easily remember if that was right. I thought it was relevant at conveying the situation.

Are the other versions voiced? Because it would be very awkward to suddenly have voices but not before. In that case I'd rather have porn and consistency.

I played the original translated version a while back. Very minor H-scene timeline spoilers ahead (irrelevant to this Steam version of the game), but I'll put it in a tag anyway. Unlike most H novels, the porn in this game starts off hot and heavy right off the bat. So much so that it gets ridiculous to an almost comical level within the first hour or two of playing (my theory is that this was due to all the pent-up sexual frustration from having no H scenes in Clannad, so they were making up for it ). Then, there's suddenly pretty much no porn the entire rest of the game, until the endings (bad, and also good IIRC).

On its own, it's probably the strangest / most unique format for H-scenes I've encountered in a VN. That's not to say they aren't fap-worthy. :-P And in the context of Tomoyo's Clannad route / OVA as a prequel, the format does make more sense.

But overall, I'd say the porn is not significant to the story, except in the one case surashu mentioned. However, the original I played missed out on the extra content, including the dungeon game, which is news to me!

Yes, you have to make certain choices to unlock Dungeons and Takafumis.

Ahh, understood. Unlike Clannad, I played it fully blind / without a walkthrough (because trying to play Clannad 100% blind for every route is suicide). Thank you, I may revisit it for what I missed. :-)

It is kind of scary when you consider 25k people play Clannad, and everyone who don't use walkthroughs is currently insane and stopped buying new VNs.
