MPU's
Hello, so i have a "simple" question about the mpu system and i hope the answer is gonna be simple aswell. From the beggining of a game i like to upgrade my city/towns and basically max everything i can while reserching new stuff and after that my plan is to start taking new land, but here is the problem when i almost done with upgrading most of the stuff (in the middle of machine age) i want to grow my army bigger but i dont have any mpus left so i was wondering if there is a way to get more mpu in a faster way for recruitment? Thank you

MPU's are resources that act as a restraint to growth. They will multiply faster when there are more "on the farm", meaning not recruited to factories and military.

The simple answer is: conquer some regions to fill your divisions more quickly.

so i have to stop production to free some mpu's or? and plus my army is too small to conquer neighbouring lands.

Maybe. Sometimes it's a choice between economic strength and military power? Who are you playing?

Im with Yugoslavia and like my resources are stable even if i shutdown most of the factories(only metal works are producing howitzers and thats all plus thank you for the help

I have a question as well.

If i build food factories like canneries, which uses MPU of the region, am i reducing the farming output as consequence?

Farms use the region MPUs to calculate the Food output. So yes, this would reduce MPUs. But food factories produce more Food and the lost farm MPUs will regenerate.

I was thinking how the game manages MPU, and i think there is a problem with Military manpower MPU.

In real life, it was a common strategy to use prisoners as national military manpower or industry (in-game MPU).
But on the game you can't transfer the MPU of a region to another.

I think for recruiting units, it should use a national wide MPU and not the region's MPU.

The MPUs recruit from national pools, i.e German, Bavarian. They do not always recruit from the region where the recruitment facility is located.

I thought building Hospitals , then Medical Buildings add 5 / 10 MPU per city as well

Hospitals and Medical Buildings increase your population growth rate.
