Didn't know what happened... sorry !
Glad it started working for you again. If you are still seeing issues with your AdCap offline progress, we have seen this linked to having the Space Badges equipped - we are looking into why. If you equip a different Badge you shouldn't have this issue any more. If you don't have other Badges drop us a line adventurecapitalist@hyperhippo.ca and we can help.
If you can't launch the game, there are a few things to try:
- Double check you are still logged into Steam (it could disconnect you but keep your library open)
- Reinstall the game
- Restart your computer
- Check for any OS updates
- Make sure your audio and video drivers are up to date
- Make sure that your Steam overlay is enabled
- Make sure you are launching the game from your library and not a desktop shortcut
If you continue to have issues, please pull your log file after you receive the error message and email it to us at adventurecommunist@hyperhippo.ca:
On PC:
1. Right click on AdComm from your Steam Library
2. Select Properties from the drop down menu
3. Select Local Files tab and click on "Browse Local Files..."
4. Open the “adventure-communist_Data” folder and locate the text file called "output_log.txt
On Mac:
1. Open a Finder window
2. On the Menu bar, go to Go > Go to Folder
3. In the dialog that comes up, put in "~/Library/Logs/Unity/" and click Go
4. Locate the "Player.log" file in that folder
Also - space badges? what? in adcom?
Great! Give those steps a shot and if no luck, send us the report.
No, that was to address the question about AdCap offline progress in the original post. It's not relevant to AdComm.
