A simple guide for n00bs

I just started yesterday. The guides online describe unlocking everything in a few hours and are generally very misleading since the game doesn't appear to work that way anymore. After a day of play it seems to me that the whole bottleneck is comrades, yet none of the guides mentions how to get more. Under the old build I guess comrades came a lot faster so this wasn't even worth discussing.

Under this build I am mostly focusing on trying to increase comrades/sec by unlocking the various bonuses for each industry. This seems to be painfully slow and I don't see a way to even get to tier 3 without days or possibly weeks of play.

So..... is there any sort of current guide that can give new players some sort of idea on what they should be doing to speed up gameplay so that there is a hope of making progress before I die of old age?

Previous build was unplayable as you had to wait weeks / months / years / life times to gain some comrades, probably the reason nobody bothered to make guides for it.

The version before that was way too easy and indeed could be completed in a day or 2.

Current version is fairly new, would need some patience to see guides.

just a tip to start: buy first top tier buildings (hives, hihgways,...) as much as you can with scientist. Doing so you will start the incremental chains for everything but the medicins.

After that start buying hives and resetting (be sure to keep at least as much as you spend). To make this shorter you can save enhoug hives to do 2 reset in a row. Then move to highways and so on.

Seems i made a huge mistake there, didn't realise you get +1 hive for 110 scientists.

This turned out to be the best advice so far. I did a hard reset to try it and after 1 hour I have made more progress than I did in the previous 2 days. It also makes the game a lot more fun since the unlocks come quite a bit faster. Thanks!

Just purchase hospital upgrade for 190 scientists over and over again due to it stacking multiplicative. This seems like the only way to get adequate amounts of comrades.

The hospital upgrade can only be bought 3 times. Just wanted to tell you before you hit that point ad got disappointed. However I think it is well worth buying 3 times for sure.

Im lost, how do I do the reset to get more scientists from the special buildings?

The other way to get comrades is employing Blasts, they are not permanent bonus indeed, but you can convert scientists into a lot of comrades in this way, otherwise it is quite impossible to get more hospitals.

Make sure to save up scientists to buy the x5 hive boost, it also grants you +1 hive (Great to start with) the x5 boost will make a reset alot faster.
