Stuttering
I played Darksider 3 with 100 FPS and it was a smooth experience. Now I decided to play Darksider 1 again, but the Warmaster Edition. Even so I get constant 120 FPS the stuttering when using only the left stick is annoying while when using the right stick it is even worth.

Cutscenes seem to be a bit smoother but maybe only because of the slow rotations. Does anyone have found a solution or is it the engine ?

I tried mouse & keyboard and controller. VSync and on VSync. Fullscrene and Windoed. Always the same results for me. I have a MSI 1080 GTX and an I7 8700 and 16 GB Ram.

Any ideas how to fix it ?

I play on Borderless Fullscreen and the game is silky smooth, might be worth a try. I had weird hitches on Fullscreen.

I tried but no success. Thx for the hint but maybe its a hardware-combination issue. I don't know ... tried so many things now

So it's not just me. Thank God I was beginning to think my PC sucked. I'm playing ona geforce 980 4 gigs vram should be plenty for this, 16 gigs of ram I5 fifth gen, but the game stutters everytime it loads in enemies offscreen. It seems to do it more when I am panning the camera.

For anyone that happens to stumble upon this. I solved my issue by capping the refresh rate of my screen in Borderless Fullscreen to 60hz. I noticed that whenever I went higher than that I got crazy stutter. Also, make sure to have V-Sync on.

How do you limit the fps?
There's no such option in game
And there's only vertical sync too

Personally, I use Nvidia Control Panel for capping FPS (and since it's such a common source of trouble across multiple games, I've set it to cap globally for all games at 60 FPS).

Ive found a solution by accident. I've set the game exe file compatibility with windows 7 and the stutter problem was finally gone.
