Maybe try to play in borderless windows mode, see if that does anything.
guess we'll be getting the same "fix" treatment the last few Darksiders releases got.....
This also fixes the menu speed.
Its the steam controller API that's causing the problem. The game handles X-Input, and D-Input on its own, but steam controller is ALSO trying to map the controller, so it's doubling the axis-input.
Disable steam controller, and the axis input will normalize.
I never did figure out the problem, and I just gave up trying to play the game
I know, and so does steam, but it's still wrapping your Xbox controller, doubling your axis input
All you have to do is right click on the game in your library, and to to properties, go down to "Steam Input setting" and change it to "forced off".
Even with the game uninstalled, you can still pull up the setting and change them in case you ever want to give it another shot.
It just the properties menu when you right click a game in your library, there's a single drop down menu at the bottom to set steam input to "off"

Thank you. Thank you very much!
A friend of mine showed me this when I was having a different issue, and I found that this problem was fixed also, which I didn't even know was a problem until it got fixed xD
Thanks
