Why do people compare this to Zelda?
Hello, I don't own the games yet, but I was seriously wondering why do people compare this game to Zelda. I'm a huge Zelda fan and I'd like to know the playerbase opinions with no spoilers, please.
I've seen various review videos and to be honest, this game looks a lot more like God of War and Devil May Cry than Zelda.

Only one i compare it to is oot and maj mask. U have the main world and u have your dungeons with puzzles and items to get to move forward. And has a cool story.

So the first game out of the three (darksiders) was a openish world with puzzles throughout the world along with the bosses being puzzle bosses alot of the time.

exp being that with the first of the 4 chosen, you have to hit her in the air with your new found ability of the shredder which can hold onto flame. you grab an unlit bomb, throw it on her, and then use your shredder to cath flame and then attack where the bomb is which makes her fall down so you can hit her for some time.

there are NO health bars on enemys which even makes it seem more puzzle like rather than just a hack and slash.

Also much like the old zeldas, you get different equipment as you progress through the game.

the entire game is set in different dungeons/areas that focus on that peticular boss, much like how the temples in zelda worked.

exp being that the first boss you have to use wings to get to her along with flying on a grphons back to get to her domain.

other boss areas include having to use a new found gauntlet to crush crystals and to shove things at them with great force, again much like a puzzle.

that is how its so similar to Zelda. not saying it doesnt share aspects with other games but mostly its zelda.

I dont think its a diorect comparison.. More that its one of very few action games that have a Zelda feel to it.. The puzzles, the way dungeons are handled (find compass, find key, get dungeon special item that allows you to access new areas and areas you couldnt access in previous areas..

I dont see how one doesnt see the Zelda here
