Normal is too easy, hard is too hard....
Anyone else finding this issue?
I typically play my games on hard (Given that there is easy, normal, hard and very hard) to increase the challange/raise the stakes.
But this game seems to lack that 'balance, as it's 'hard' feels like 'very hard' compared to it's too easy 'normal' mode.

Anyone know of a mod, or way to mess around with settings to find an inbetween this?

It's a long shot...but figured i'd ask. As I want to enjoy the game, but on the same hand...don't want to be too frustrated. (which is exactly how hard mode is....you're getting two shot, while in normal you're a *bullet* sponge...it's way too off).

If you're getting two-shot, you're getting hit. If you're getting hit that much, you're not ready for Hard. Learn enemy patterns and how/when to dodge, and you'll find it's not that bad.

Nothing like an irrelevant answer.

War is supposed to live hell after being stripped of all his power by the council. Hard mode is where you can feel how weak War became compared to when he arrived on Earth. To me, it's not an issue. If you like playing hard because you want to feel rewarded for your effort and learning then this difficulty is just what you need.
Frustation is just you telling yourself to get good and time dodge better, take less risks, learn patterns.
Make sure to explore everything and get the hp shard to have extra chances if you get hit.
I don't remember the entire game when I played it on Normal in 2012 but on Hard in 2018, it seems that the early game is harder because of the original low hp pool.I found the game slightly easier as I got new gear that disrupts mobs and I also love using air spin attack since it prevents melee from attacking me.
As for the mod, I don't have a clue.
But if you are playing for the story there is no shame in doing Normal then testing your skills on Hard.
I found normal normal and hard... well hard. Maybe it's just me.

Sounds relevant enough to me. Sounds like you don't want to put the work in.

well you could play it 2 times, one time on lower difficulty and when play again, but with abysal armor which you collect in first time, so basicly you could 100%
