Should I buy it

I love the God of war games and this looks very similar from what I've seen on the store page

I really enjoyed it, character levellings a bit limited as is weapon development, but the powers you unlock are pretty good, and its got its own atmosphere, dark and a bit quirky. Some of the puzzles are great, graphics are nice too. I never got bored with it while i was playing, i been through it 3 times. Its a good action fighting game. If you buy it get to know the weapon moves you unlock, there really handy. The controls are good too, they dont undermine the experience, the cameras solid and you got good options like changing the FOV and stuff. All in all a good solid game with none of those frustrasting problems some games suffer from - camera, controls so on.

Get an Xbox 360 or One controller if you don't already have one. This game can be played with mouse and keyboard but it is IMO more fun with a good Xbox controller.

I have been playing this so far with mouse and keyboard and had no issues. I had to rebind dash to shift because alt wasn't as easy to press. Other than that it works fine. I've played games like assassins creed and the batman arkham games with mouse and keyboard and have no issues with those either so im pretty comfortable with using mouse and keyboard for 3rd person action games.
Also i do own a wired xbox 360 controller so I could use it, but i prefer mouse and keyboard for pretty much any game honestly
