BUG: No 4k for Nvidia DSR with multimonitor <-- FIXED
It seems Darksiders only allows resolution of the monitor. What about DSR resolution ?
Also it does not properly recognize 144Hz on my 1440p monitor.
I want to render in 4k this game and gamestream to my TV.
This is first title with this issue. Please fix!
I have max 144Hz with 1440p, but I can only configure 60Hz with 1440 ?
1080p has a proper option for 144Hz but not 1440p.

What's up with that ?

Edit:
I had to disable x2 in NVIDIA control Panel and only enable x2.25 and disable x2.
If I have my second monitor on I do nether can play in 144Hz with 1440 nor I see 2160 DSR option (not even 60Hz) in the menu option.
With second monitor on I see only 60Hz 1440 and no 2160 or 2036.

Issue cause:
It seem game incorrectly provides resolution option with 2 monitor setup.

Solution:
Only primary monitor resoluton should be take into consideration.

EDIT2:
THAT WUS FIXAD!!! TANK YOU!

I play the game with DSR in 3840x2160 on my 1080p monitor so this is working fine.

then something is broken in game.
On my 1440p monitor i can only select 3620 x 2036 no 3840x2160.

Only when I turn off second monitor i can see in game 3620 x 2036.
Not even with switched off second monitor i can see 3840x2160.

silly standard question but, have you the latest drivers for your card?
MikeMousse Dec 9, 2016 @ 7:15am
It would mean it aceept resolutions x2 but not x2.25.

Dev please fix!

of course I have :)

In all other games I perfectly see 3840x2160, but darksiders do not see it.

Why they just not allow whatever Resolution is possibe on the system.
It seems Darksiders has it's own standards?

Native 2560x1440 monitor here (Asus ROG Swift)

I've DSR set via Nvidia Control Panel at 2.25x - I can see 3840x2160 in the game menu just fine.

Devs have nothing to fix.

That is super wird!

I have no option like that.

game shows DSR resolution in my game too. your problem is something else devs have nothing to fix.
MikeMousse Dec 9, 2016 @ 8:27am
Ok i found the issue. It's game issue though:

1. Only when I switch off second monitor and disable x2 DSR in the NVIDIA control panel I see 2160.
2. Only when I switch off second monitor I see refresh rates 144Hz of my 1440. My second monitor is 60Hz.

So:
1. I need to keep my second monitor off to see 144Hz refresh rate in game if I want to play in 1440.
2. I need to keep my second monitor off to see DSR resolution at all.

In other words:
I had to disable x2 in NVIDIA control Panel and only enable x2.25. However if I have my second monitor on I do nether can play in 144Hz with 1440 nor I see 2160 DSR option (not even 60Hz) in the menu option.

I can live with first issue, cause it's a simple fix to disable x2 option.

However disabling second monitor before game starts is unneccesery.
Devs please fix!

Issue:

It seem game incorrectly provides resolution option with 2 monitor setup.
Only primary monitor resoluton should be take into consideration, not a common factor.
I think devs did some shortcuts here.

What if u enable both x2 and 2.25?

The devs asked directx to enumerate all resolutions that support SRGB truecolor output. What you see in the list is what directx reports.
As some users have complaints there we can have an extra look at that, but the code looks neat and clean. No shortcut there.

Thanks for looking into that. I have described problem in the first post.
This is the only game I have issue with dualmonitor setup like that. Please verify agaist it.

Other games l have in my library properly display all DirectX options.
Nether of those games requred of me disabling x2 DSR factor nor disabling second monitor to achive 3840x2160 60 Hz or 1440p in 144Hz, so something must be funky in the code.

I bet it's an easy fix :)

PS: If you need any logs to be capture please let me know and I can gladly provide.

I am not sure if this helps, but try to switch to borderless or exclusive fullscreen mode. It could be a glitch, that some window mode somehow doesn't show this. Of course, it may not have anything to do with it at all, in such case developers would need your logs and you can send them to: bugs@kaikogames.com
