Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Scythe and Harvester
First off, a colossal thanks to THQ Nordic for another well done remaster to a game we love.
And as I'd hoped, just like what they did with the Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition, they implemented previously exclusive content as phase and area unlockables in the game. In this particular case, the Harvester for Darksiders, which could only ever ben obtained in one game.

Now, finally, on to my question. I noticed that both the Scythe and Harvester is available at Vulgrim's, for 1000- and 5000 souls, respectively.

What impact doe the Scythe have when it's for sale together with the Harvester? If bought first and the Harvester second, does the Harvester replace it? Likewise, if the Harvester is bought first and the Scythe second, is the Harvester replaced?

Good question...

You can actually go back and forth between both. But if you buy the more expensive Harvester first, you get the regular Scythe for free.

Great, thanks for clearing that up!

A question that was also answered swiftly, fortunately. Haha, didn't want to stand the risk of losing the Harvester permanently like one could in the previous version. And I lost it when my saved files bugged, just like it bugged when I got the Crow Set in DS II. :-/

Are they both the same? Means, the Harvester won't do more Damage like the normal one? If it's just a Skin, i take it anyway.^^

The harvester doesn't count as a scythe for the weapon level completion. Also changing back to the normal scythe completely resets weapon level. So don't buy the harvester ever.

Too late ;((
I thought it would continue from the scythe XP... Now I have to start the levels all over again T_T

Well, that's good to know... And sorry that happened. It must be another bug or so, because I can't imagine it being an actual part of the game where the Scythe's levels reset.

The Harvester DOES count for weapon level completion. I got Battle Hardened with it.
