Why are the Cinematics and Cutscene extremely lagged?
The game runs on ''playable'' fps rate, but all the cutscenes are extremely lagged and with a terrible sound delay. Can you launch a patch for this devs?

MY SOULTION!
Hello, I also noticed the same problem, the background audio in the cinematics was lost and the video started to go very slow. Really unbearable.
Search many solutions (change codecs, uninstall codecs, fidget with records, change audio format, pray to Rosa de Guadalupe, etc ...)
Finally I came up with a solution, I realized that the resolution of all the videos was 1920x812, so I decided to lower the resolution of the video to 1280x720 and it worked, the video of the cinematics is no longer delayed and the audio is heard in perfect synchronization with the voices.
Of course, there is no substitute for the original videos with the converted videos.

I know there are many programs that offer to change the resolution of the videos, but most leave a watermark until you buy the full version.
You can use the video converter that you like, but the one I use does not leave any watermark and does it very well. You can locate it with your search engine with the name:
Any video converter (AVC).

It's free, and as I said, it does not leave watermarks in the video conversion.
I hope it serves, any questions you may ask. Greetings from Peru.

You should go to their forums I dont have these issues but it might be a bugg or something else. I think they have a support forum for this. It might help them to identify the cause of the issue.

They're actively responding on these forums, either way.

Same problem...

Ffs, I was really hyped to replay this game, game plays smooth 60 fps, but during cutscenes my eyes are bleeding.

Do you know if it's because of your cpu usage or not? I'm having the same issue. http://steamcommunity.com/app/462780/discussions/0/154642447914354433/
I don't know, because on the old version the cutscene were running normal, just on the remaster they are very lagged, and I don't know what is causing this, because the cutscenes are pre-rendered and the cinematics are videos inserted on the game, it must be some incompatibility with the game frame rate.

There's an incorrect use of terminology here.

The cutscenes are not "lagging" ..they're not properly using sound channels. There's a big difference in meaning. The point to get across though is that the graphical part of cutscens run perfeclty fine, but the audio levels and delivery is not working right, so that you get perfectly fine voice overs, but you can't hear the sound effects or anbient effects properly at all.

Like if you tried to listen to a 8.1 dolby digital blue ray with only 2 stereo speakers plugged in.

yeah, have the same issue.
Game plays well outside of cutscenes, 60Fps, but as soon as a cutscene begings it lags, the video stutters and the audio seems to be not working properly.
Hope there is a solution for this.

Same issue here.
Just to make sure it's not because of CPU usage, Tried some cpu usage limitation program and limited the game's usage by 10% (just to make sure it doesn't use all of the cpu's power) and still got awful sound syncing.
Really hope they can fix it without making us re-download all of the videos(It's more than 10 GB's FFS).
But the gameplay itself is pretty smooth.

Same problem here. CPU; FX-8350 @ 4.2. GPU GTX970 ~ 20% OC, 372.90 Driver.

Game runs 60fps+, FMV are playing correct. In-game cutscene crawl down to a very low FPS, and audio seems to keep going at normal rate, Making it completely unwatchable. Can't play it until fixed.

I get 60 fps during gameplay, 40-60 during cutscenes, but even with 60 fps I get stutter during cutscenes.

It's a V-Sync problem in exclusive fullscreen.

V-sync on (With or without triple buffering) in exclusive fullscreen gives the unwatchable in-engine cutscenes. Doesn't matter if you use v-sync foced via GPU (Videocard) control panel, Or use the in-game option, Both are broken in exclusive fullscreen.

In borderless window mode, v-sync on doesn't make the in-engine cutscenes go out of sync, And play out proper. Be it it has some minor stutters (On my rig). Buffer issues it is.

Hope it helps anyone. It is a great game if it runs good.

It's worse for me in borderless window. And I can't play without vsync since I get screen tearing.

What is worse for you, The stuttering or out-of-sync problem?. As if it is stuttering then yes that makes sense, As exclusive fullscreen has more resources available and gives a little more fps.

If it's the out of sync problem, For me borderless worked with v-sync on, Otherwise I get tearing too indeed. But this gives a relative big performance hit, Making it run less smooth. And I wouldn't know how to fix your out of sync problem then. Maybe try double checking the GPU settings, Maybe it created a cutom profile etc.
