under windows/application in event viewer all appcrashes are listed
That's how I found out all my Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition crashes are "Access Violation" crashes.
It is likely that your crashes could also be "access Violation Crashes.
Look closely at the "Exception Code" in the event viewer. if it is either:
0x00000005
or
0xc00000005
than the issue is an access violation where windows is denying the game access to protected memory.
This issue is the hardest to fix and even formatting your pc and performing a clean install of Windows often does not solve this.
It's really then up to the devs to patch the game to prevent this appcrash. (assuming access violations are as big an issue as they are in Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition)
My brother got the create minidump last night, obviously not a flawless release
DOOM (2016) never got it's crash issues fixed.
(I haven't had a crash yet, but I have not spent enough time playing yet to accertain if I will get appcrashes too).
Yeah DOOM 2016 i dont have crash at all and how i can acces Window event ?
This process may be different on Windows 8, 8.1 and 10
I use Windows 7
then click on "Windows logs" to expand
then click "application"
in the field to the right the info comes up on all alerts, errors and crashes that applications have had.
I found but what can i understand from this:

Now I am worried I will get this issue on this game too.
I have only played a few mins but that crash report does not bode well.
this is the same crashing that the new doom has had since day one and still has today.
I hope these devs will be more proactive about resolving these appcrashes.
♥♥♥♥ but weird how this happening on Remaster games even on Bioshock remaster is the same crash after 30 min and the same on Event. So is no fix for this ?
Correct. I also got Bioshock 1 and 2 remaster and Boshock 2 remaster is also as likely to crash as a drunk driver with a lead foot and no brakes.
Why is it these "Remasters" go into meltdowns that put Chernobyl to shame?
The only fix would be for the devs of each game to make stability patches.
Access Violations are nearly impossible for the end-user to fix themselves. (Believe me, I've tried!)
It almost always comes down to a string of poor code in the game. Something that would be a nightmare for any dev to diagnose. (which is probably why there has not yet been a stability patch for DS2 DE yet. Literally like looiking for a gold needle in a giant haystack)..
Like lots of IT problems it could take months to diagnose and seconds to fix. I've come to know that well, fixing my own PC.
I also warn against forcing your user full control over files and folders, especially system files/folders, as it can lead to disasterous consequences, even breaking your system to a point that only a clean install of Windows can get it to boot. A repair install won't work as it needs setup on with Windows disk need to be performed in Windows, and you may not be able to back up your files as Explorer may not open. This could mean taking your rig into the shop and would then be a costly mistake
I learned that the hard way when every executable and dll was denied access. Words can not describe how much of a nightmare it was to get my system back up and running!!!

i dont know mine keeps crashing after half an hour so you have different than mine.I hope they fix it.
Normally if a game has any crash issues I get them and worse than anyone else. I'm thanking my lucky stars atm.
I have revalidated the game (which took 45 minutes and reported no errors), disabled the MSI Afterburner overlay, disabled/quit all the programs in the system tray, reinstalled the VC++ libraries and DirectX June 2010 from the game folder, rebooted, etc... nothing works. Exact same result every time.
Yet I can play Watch_Dogs 2, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinitie Warfare/Modern Warfare Remastered, Planet Coaster, Dishonored 2, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, Obduction and many others with no problems at all and certainly no crashes.
So why is this the only game that doesn't work? Given that they work and this doesn't suggests the issue lies with the game, particularly as the Event log doesn't record any of the crashes, but I see from the forums that most people are playing the game albeit with some issues so that infers that the problem might be a conflict with something else I am running on my PC (which does not affect any of those other games that are working fine). The annoying thing is not having the error recorded in the Event log as that would at least give me a clue as to what the cause might be.
My PC is an i7-4770K, 16 GB, GTX 1080 running Windows 10 Pro v1607 Build 14393.479 64-bit. I have all up to date drivers, including the latest v376.09 WHQL graphics driver from NVIDIA.
I have a crash dump file and DXDiag.txt but do not know where to send it.
