If not, do you use any special setup, drivers, the like ?
Oh, ok.
I use the Razor Sabertooth controller and I don't use any special drivers. And when I press a button in the start menu nothing happens. And it's the only game in wich this happens.
Ok, I see. We probably need to make a few tests here and there.
As far as I have googled, the controller should behave as XInput device. I can see a problem where the controller also gets recognized as Direct Input device and not filtered because it is not exactly an X360 controller.
So it would be recognized as unsupported Direct Input device - which the game should not allow to use.
Do you know if the Razor Sabertooth works in the original Darksiders game or in other games that only support XInput ?
Huh ??
Thats really, really strange. I guess I don't need to ask if it works ok in other games.
Actually, it looks like my problems were caused by an improper install. I had Steam validate my game files, which resulted in 8 files having to be re-downloaded, and now everything works fine.
I don't know if it works in the original version. I will download the original version again and test it. Oh and by the way...thanks for the quick replys/help.
