Make sure it's on b4 u load game. And when game is on don't touch mouse or keyboard at the start press start on the controller. See if that works.
thank you so much for this info; I almost thought that Darksiders I Warmastered Edition cannot be played with a normal wired XONE gamepad.
This really need to be a feature for the upcoming Darksider III!
Also what do u mean with keymapping?
We don't even have the opportunity to change the gamepad configuration.
I was clever enough to use the word "IF." Speaking of IF, IF one doesn't have a 2nd display, I suggest going back to Game Options > Display Controls. From there, it IS in fact possible edit the key mapping. Example: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1104896250
With that said, you can view your current mapped keys any time you need to.
But if you don't think you have the opportunity to change the gamepad configs, this begs the question: Did you set your controller up with Steam first? If not, you need to go to Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings. Select the type of controller you have, such as PS4 or XBox whatever. I have an Xbox 360 controller that's best wired on a USB 3.0. Note: 2.0 may not allow all of the gamepad to function in a few games. But I was able to config my right joystick sensitivity that way I can aim based on what feels best. Oddly enough, without doing Steam config, the targeting, and B prompts look different. It also screws with my keyboard, so that if I touch it in game, I'm stuck with the keyboard and forced to restart the game.
NOTE: With Steam gamepad configs, don't touch your keyboard while on the title/menu screen. Make all selections with your gamepad until you're in a new game or your latest save. Even with it configured via Steam, you still have some minor keyboard/gamepad conflicts.
I accidentally found this out while troubleshooting my fight with Tiamat, since I initially thought it was my controller's input somehow making it freeze. Turns out my Tiamat fight freeze-up really was a graphics/memory leak. I can't find a patch for it, so I'm just going to lower my settings every time I'm in a boss fight.
Do you possibly have a bit more info on that ? How did you find out it was a graphics/mem leak ? Do you happen to know which kind of 3d objects leak ?
