Laggy today
I wanted to continue a bit Pyre today but the menu instead of 60fps is like 15 fps...
I just remembered i did an Nvidia update since yesterday, i tried to fix that but i really don't know what's wrong.
Anyon had this issue since now?

Didn't update my drivers and have the same problem, altough for me its about 20-25 FPS

the FAQ said to put it not fulls screen and borderless, it really help.
But i like to enjoy my games fullscreen => full immersion

b4 that update, as in the big update for pyre today. i was humming along @ 60 fps full screen. 1920 x 1080. nice.

post update - turn on the steam fps counter, i could tell it was running like dog crap, & it is:

results = fullscreen 20 fps. ick.

borderless = 60.

that i could live with, but its not full screen, as in does not fill the screen,as in i dont like it. nope.

fix this please & thank you.

spec:

ASUSTek Computer Inc.
GL50VT
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.59 GHz
12.0 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M
Intel(R) HD Graphics 530
direct x 12
64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor (Windows 10 Home)
Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.483)

edit =

its cray cray, but if i press alt + z, to bring up nvidia experience interface, while pyre's running, this seems to boost fps from 20 fps, to 60, in fs suddenly.

Thanks for the reports here. We are looking into why some graphics cards are having performance issues in fullscreen.

In the meantime, try launching the game not in FullScreen (but still filling your full display seamlessly) with the following Launch Options:
/FullScreen=false /NoBorder=true /X=1920 /Y=1080 /WindowX=0 /WindowY=0
Replacing X and Y with your native or preferred resolution.
To set Launch Options, right-click on Pyre in your game library, select Properties, then click on "Set Launch Options..."

if youve a similar pc & nvidia experience, press alt + z, to call it up while pyre is running. (like so the user interface appears on screen)

if you do it right you should notice the boost in fps to around 60.

you can enable the fps counter by going to steam > settings > in game > toggle fps counter on.

thats what im doing till they sort it out & it works.

We've deployed a new patch that contains some additional options that may help with this. Please exit and relaunch Steam and the game should update.

If you're still experiencing framerate issues after updating, try adding to your launch options:
/NoFixedStep=true /SwapInterval=0
Please try them both together and individually. These should unlock the game's framerate if there is a vsync compatibility issue with with your graphics card or monitor.

To set Launch Options, right-click on Pyre in your game library, select Properties, then click on "Set Launch Options..."

ive tried all of the above it. Nothing makes any difference :/ Still performes badly fullscreen and windowed does not properly fit the screen

Posted the same in another thread:

A couple other things to try if the above launch options still aren't helping:
1. Disable the GeForce Experience Overlay
2. If you have multiple graphics cards (even an integrated one in addition to a standalone card), try disabling one and forcing it your PC to use the other

For some reason it just started working for me, I didn't change anything
