How would you describe the gameplay?

"RPG" is technically correct, though it feels lacking to me compared to normal rpgs I've played. Such a unique experience and I love it, but I've been curious how one would describe Pyre to somebody.

I feel like "role playing game" fits this game better then most as your choices are actually made through your actions and have long lasting consequences from the start. Most "rpgs" are just linear games with a skill tree/leveling system attached which to me doesnt mean role playing.

Besides that i feel like visual novel fantasy sports basketball fits it best.

The story and interactions are dreamy. The art style and character design so detailed and appealing. THe rite or "sport" if you will is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and near terrible
