doesn't always have no one show up. The first time I played, no one showed. The second time I played, the team showed. I'd enabled all the stars expecting a no-show.
Same with me.
After 24 rites. The game has 26 rites in total.
Also, this one guarantee you a Flame Quencher achievement.
In my playthrough I was supposed to play against Pyrehearts, but they chickened out
Just here to say this: it might depend on the triumvirate you're facing. The Pyrehearts are chickens and they crap their pants whenever they see you after you've defeated them a few times. In my first (and only, right now) playthrough, I had to face the Fate. And they came. Which seems logical to me, as they are attached to tradition and would never turn away from a Rite, even if they had no chance left at freedom.
I personnally got the achievement on the Rite just before this one. A Liberation Rite. Let me tell you, that was quite something, fighting in a high stakes Rite with only 70HP against 165HP, with everyone having awfully big auras... especially since I was facing the Accusers. They had two demons. They did more than 40 damage to me each time. Thankfully, I had talismans that helped me heal.
Not sure about that. I think I had to face the Dissidents for that Rite, and they didn't show up, despite Barker being quite into this whole thing. I might be remembering it wrong,
though.
Can confirm, much to my dismay and regret.
Who were you supposed to face in that second to last Rite?
