About the Liberation Rites
Is the game set up so that you face each other group at least once in a Liberation Rite? Or can you end up fighting one group multiple times (assuming you keep winning)?

I ask because I was hoping to go against the Fate in the next LR and let them win (for the achievement and also because I just like them) but the game's forced my hand and now I have to face them in a vanilla Rite- no other options were given. If I beat them here, will I still be able to get them liberated in a future round? Or do I need to lose to them here first?

(Note, I haven't beaten the full campaign yet and have only done two Liberation Rites so far)

You have a high probability of eventually facing the Fate in a Liberation Rite, as long as you don't categorically seek them out and crush them whenever possible.

In more detail, you will eventually be able to use Volfred Sandalwood's Planner to see the amount of favour each other team has and stack the odds in your favour.

That's the weird thing; I have the planner, and it looked like I was set to see them at the Liberation as long as I didn't fight them beforehand. But after the first Rite of the cycle, the game decided to make them the only option for the next fight

In that case, go out of your way to defeat other teams who have a higher point total.

Also, even if you do nothing about it you'll end up facing them almost guaranteed if they're high on the list because the team you face in each Lib Rite gets their point total reduced to 0 if they lose, or they're removed from the Rites if they win.

Thanks, I'll try that, hopefully see them again soon
