[Help] TiZo Trial Strategy
So, Ti'Zo, in my opinion, should have a different Scribe Trial, or no trial at all, just because he is HEAVILY a support character (teleport runes and suicide bombing along with fly go a long way away towards helping TEAMMATES and not Ti'Zo himself) and he doesn't really have the skillset to function alone in any capacity.
But, my opinion on that nonwithstanding, does anyone here have suggestions on how to beat his trial? I have had a near FLAWLESS run in the game so far but this one trial is kicking my ass.

Current strategy: Bait the first Savage into taking the ball then intercept him with Ti'Zo's aura for one kill. Allow the second savage to run for the ball, implode on him. Fly the ball downfield, juking the third Savage for the goal. The problem I'm running into is the Savage's will rush Ti'Zo for a melee aura-cast, and then I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥, and if I get the ball first they're waiting to cast. If I implode the first savage, another savage can grab the ball and score before Ti'Zo respawns, even with his CD reduction skill.

BTW my Ti'Zo is Enlightenment 3. And suggestions that I get him to E5 before trying again are painfully obvious and unhelpful, so can it.

No, no...

You want to bomb 2+ enemies quickly, then count on your quicker resurrection speed to respawn & score before they're back in the game - on medium difficulty they have 7 second timers. By that point you'll have access to the -% respawn charm, which @ level 20 is 60% faster.

This makes the fight trivial, to say the least.

Edit: I did this on a level 1 Tizo, and didn't even use that charm. It's just a case of using the mechanics.

Ti'Zo is small so hard to hit and move quite fast. Rush to the ball and bait them away from their goal. When close you can flutter a bit if there's still an aura in the way. I personally never use his explosion and use him as a ball carrier because he's one of the best carrier once you finish his trial if you upgrade his talisman to lvl 20.
So, i've attempted your suggestions, and the AI will simply wait patiently for TiZo to run out of stamina before killing him if I get the ball first. If I don't get the ball first they take possession and leap directly into the goal with a long jump.

Kite them around the obstacles, when then just fly over them to score. Not easy, but absolutely doable.

Ti'zo fly is so overpowered it should be enough to get you through this

I passed Ti'Zo's Trial last night and didn't really think much of it. The game has been super easy, so far, even playing with 6+ Titan Stars. AI is still AI and is always cheesable.

With that said, I always just use the "Faster Respawn" Trinket for like every Trial. If you get banished, the AI usually isn't fast/smart enough to make a goal before you respawn, which is sometimes right on top of them trying to score.

Something worth noting, your implode will hit through walls, and AI REALLY doesn't like to hop obstacles. You can run behind a wall and use implosion within range of two of them, and then just ru n it in. You can even abuse fly over walls if you're worried about stamana stuff.

In addition to what other folks have said, try lowering the difficulty for that one trial (honestly not sure if it factors in, but won't hurt to try).
And stay determined, the reward is well worth the struggle (that talisman makes Ti'zo slightly OP first and after several applications of the upgrade powder - blatantly OP) which is ok considering his legacy

An easy way to do it is get the trinket that causes their respawn time to be increased by 1 second (or you can upgrade it up to 2 seconds) on him and just implode on them it should give you more than enough time to repawn and dash into their flame.
I beat the trial with the Comedian's suggestion, baiting out an aura cast and using TiZo's dart/fly to skip over the opposition. Thanks for the suggestion.

Glad it helped.

Ti'zo isn't really that hard, don't bother using the implode ability. Just use zip to pick up the orb first, lure them out of position, and then rush the pyre. Rinse and repeat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmcbIj_l_B0

You're kidding, right? The AI in his trial jumps RIGHT on you the instant you go airborne. His fly is literally useless.

Using the Level 20 Talismen which +8 quickness, and jump a lot, quickness never fails LOL
