There is nothing in this forum that says I need to remove those videos, i recieved no emial about it from keymailer, the site that issued me a review key.
Id like to know why my channel now has a strike on it.
here's another imgur link to see.
http://imgur.com/a/qHYAv
I also went on a search on youtube, and IM the ONLY person that recieved such strikes.
Why is ALEX MAUER specifically targeted ONLY me? This makes no sense.
the two videos removed were fmo the game's early access launch.
if it gets dmca'd , you will see "deleted video" , sometimes telling you why.
dmca takedowns imply infringement, old game footage isnt infringement, regardless.
not sure how that would work in terms of airing an old video on a livestream, livestreaming has different rules.
the reason why this irritates me most, is i had a video, two actually - of JUST music?
just music that Alex herself messaged me and asked to take down, which i did.
and then 6 months later i get DMCA takedowns on just gameplay footage?
it's underhanded as f**k
also it isnt starr mazer dsp music either.
there's an issue with Alex Mauer's music in the game. The devs have removed it all, and made fresh original music.
And then the game got ripped down from steam's store page again.
And then they added music for level 2, and yet again - taken off of the store page.
A day later, I got two DMCA takedown notices on videos for Starr mazer DSP that I had uploaded nearly a year ago.
the "artist" who did the soundtrack didn't got paid and decided to get pissed, the game got a new OST but Alex Mauer is still at it, HE should really stop
Flat out refuses to remove my strikes, too. Very petty indeed.
Especially since its flagrant abuse of the copyright system; I didn't steal anything lol. That was music in the game, at the time of recording + uploading. Not eligible for DMCA- but YouTube is automated and doesn't give two f*cks about anything. NO human saw anything pertaining to issuing my channel the strikes.
all alex said was " if they were dmca'd, you wouldnt see them on youtube"
...which is false, as I can put them in a playlist ( as i have done) and see them there, or deleted xD
strike not removed, so i can't do much.
