Continue doesn't work

I was quite bored, so I wanted to stop a while, it's very repetitive, but I try to continue my game, I only had a new game- I was on level 23 I believe but that progress was gone... I was just going for 100% and only needed the 2 full upgrade (wall/base) and the 2 highest gold amounts... this is tedious.

I personally don't recommend it, unless below a dollar in price.
