Stuck on level 42

I think I see what I need to do here: the two shapes beside eachother need to lock in, and then portal to the left and they should be long enough to slide into place.

But whenever I try to connect them they say they don't fit together. No matter how I rotate them. And they're clearly the same shape?

Anyone have any tips?

yep, this one works. it's actually been a while since I played this and not sure how things work exactly, but you either have to assemble these 2 before you move them to their final place or move them there one by one. and maybe the one on the right needs to be removed first and added last. I'm sure it's not much help, sorry but it's a weird (but fun) game.

You have to move the first piece to the spot completelly on the left and then connect the second piece over the gap. Basically you need too move both pieces a bit to the left.

I struggled with that one as well. For those who still did not get it, you must connect the two pieces that are supposed to occupy the left and middle parts of the puzzle over the gap in the botton left.

I'm stuck here as well. Guess this one gave quite a few people headaches.
