A Complete List of Missable Achievements
Tales Across Time features 22 Achievements to unlock! To help achievement hunters, I wanted to compile a list of the achievements that are permanently missable. By that, I mean achievements that you can only unlock for a limited time and are easy to miss. I have tried to keep spoilers to a minimum, so please feel free to read on!

Humble Origins - This achievement is only accessible on the first screen of the game. Let's just say it might be worth venturing outside of your campsite ;)

Archaeologist/Crystal Collector/Relics of the Past – These achievements require you to find each Upgrade Crystal in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stories respectively. Make sure that you explore locations thoroughly and check the Menu (opens with the X button) to keep track of how many Crystals there are too find in a particular story.

Fact or Fiction/Talk of the Town – These achievements are available in the 2nd Story until you go out into the Desert during Sunset. The former requires you to do some light reading, while the latter requires you to speak with everyone in town.

Denied! – This achievement is available in the 1st Story. It requires you to Stun a Charging enemy, and there are three opportunities for you to do this – in either of the two Fossil Dinosaur encounters, or in the boss battle with the Ancient Wyrm (Dragon).

Overpowered – This achievement is available in the 3rd story and requires you to find every Power Cell. However, it can only be completed prior to visiting the Armoury. A cutscene will inform you to head to the Armoury at a certain point in the story, so make sure you’ve gotten this achievement prior to doing so.

And that's it! There are seven achievements that are permanently missable, so hopefully they won't give anyone too much trouble. Any other achievements not listed here are either rewarded for proceeding through the story, or possible to obtain until the moment you begin the Final Boss battle.

Happy Achievement Hunting! =D

Do you think the Humble Origins achievement qualifies to be on this list? I missed it when I first started playing. It can only be gotten in the first chapter, right? I just started a New Game, got the achievement, and went back to my previous save so it wasn't a big deal.

I wondered about that when first writing the guide, but decided not to include it - seeing as, as you say, it's so easy to jump into a new game and get it in a couple of minutes. But now that you mention it, I suppose it really should be here. Sorry for the oversight! I'll add it right away.
