Levaine, leader of the Electi, has been contacted by an unlikely group of new potential allies: The Flock, a commune of pacifist Rippers who gave up violent slaughter for chill vibes. They've made camp in a polluted desert canyon known as the Toxic Scowl, but now their buzz is being harshed by The Blasphemers, an aggressive group of Rippers who have taken over a nearby Order facility.

New loot unique to this new Bounty Pack includes one new Pearlescent weapon, and six new pieces of Legendary gear!

*Bounty Pack 4 DLC has two parts: a repeatable mission in Murders and Acquisitions, and rewards earned through gameplay with Vault Card 4. This content is included with the Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack Bundle, Borderlands 4 Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions, and is also available for separate purchase. Base game required.

• Our Version 1.9 Update released on July 30, including two new Pearlescent weapons, one new Legendary, and the introduction of dedicated drop sources for the eight Pearlescent weapons previously added in Version 1.7! Here's the breakdown:

• Eight Pearlescents now have dedicated drop sources

  • Solar Temper - Timekeeper

  • Locust - Idolator Sol

  • Unkempt Herald - Vault Guardian Inceptus

  • Juliets Sparkle - Callis

  • Abyss - Vile Lictor

  • Screwstonian - Vault Guardian Origo

  • Constable - Bloomreaper

  • Gomie - Thol

• Two new Pearlescents and one new Legendary added with dedicated drop sources

  • New Pearlescent Gun - Vault Guardian Radix 

  • New Pearlescent Gun - Subjugator

  • New Legendary Gun - Ordonite Generator Activity bosses

FL4K is back! Ahead of its September 10 launch alongside Loveless the Hacker and Bounty Pack 5, we shared a teaser for Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort, with the unmatched beastmaster continuing The Hunt on Kairos and tracking down their missing skag companion Mr. Chew. Their pursuit has led to a volcanic, overgrown resort on a lush jungle island, which just so happens to be where the Tediore corporation is beginning the early stages of a covert invasion.

Just like how Amara and Zane feature heavily in Borderlands 4's main campaign, FL4K was a playable Vault Hunter in Borderlands 3 who's making their return on Kairos as the focal-point NPC of this new narrative content. You'll have to wait and see how FL4K has changed in the years since we last saw them, beyond the animal skull and feathers they've added to their hunting attire.

One week into their new partnership, the scammy scheme team of Watts and Junie are still working out kinks and discovering new quirks. With DAHL-related danger looming large on the horizon, the proactive pair is busily serving up justice, pocketing duckets, and figuring out the rhythms of their swindles.

So let Dead ECHOs regale you with air ducts, code names, pumps, dumps, dummies, fantasy cruises, counterfeit firearms, AND other shellfish as the confounding Postmaster makes his debut and the dexterous art of improv shames us all.

Borderlands: Dead ECHOs is Gearbox’s first scripted narrative podcast, a darkly comedic drama set in the chaotic Borderlands universe. It follows Watts, a disenchanted DAHL ECHO Operator, who supplements his meager pay by sifting lucrative secrets from undeliverable ECHO logs and selling them to the highest bidder. When Junie, a curious stranger with big ideas, gets him out of a jam, the two strike up an unlikely partnership. As Junie injects a daring Robin Hood twist into Watts’ amateur criminal enterprise, their ECHO-brokering operation draws attention from ruthless mercenaries, violent outlaws, and DAHL’s deadly corporate hit squad lead by power-hungry rogue executive, Vivian Proctor.

It's time to rock out with Levaine and settle the score between two feuding factions of Rippers in the Toxic Scowl. Alongside the Version 1.9 update, all Bounty Pack 4* content is now available as paid DLC, with two distinct parts that you can purchase individually:

• $5.99 USD for Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions (new narrative content and gear)

• $5.99 USD for Bounty Pack 4: Vault Card 4 (new desert-chic cosmetics and gear)

Bounty Pack 4 arrives in two distinct parts that you can purchase individually: the new narrative content and loot of Murders and Acquisitions, and the new cosmetics and gear of Vault Card 4. If you own Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition, Super Deluxe Edition, or the Bounty Pack Bundle, you already own both parts of Bounty Pack 4 (Murders and Acquisitions and Vault Card 4).

Once you've acquired Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions, you'll be able to start the repeatable mission after your first encounter with Levaine in Carcadia Burn during the main campaign. You'll find the mission-starting crate of mushrooms near any Bounty Board in the major hub areas, which will be marked on your ECHO map as a new mission.

Completing the Murders and Acquisitions mission will unlock a Vault Hunter Skin usable by all Vault Hunters, a Vehicle, and an ECHO-4 Drone Skin. In addition, you can farm a new boss and three new mini-bosses in the Toxic Scowl for a new Pearlescent weapon and six new pieces of Legendary loot! Here's a sneak peek at the unique effects of this powerful new gear:

• 1 new Pearlescent weapon:

  • PRISM (Jakobs Sniper Rifle): Imbues ricochets with a random elemental damage type. Nailing consecutive critical hits will spawn additional projectiles up to a cap.

• 6 new pieces of Legendary gear:

  • Silver Sliver (Daedalus Pistol): Enemies hit by this high-fire-rate pistol receive a stacking debuff that makes them take increased damage.

  • Overconsumption (Tediore Pistol): A rocket-blasting pistol that spawns two mobile turrets when thrown for a reload.

  • Plump Bob (Ripper Shotgun): Fires shells that bounce multiple times.

  • Hydrowerks (Torgue Shield): When sliding, you'll fire out missiles; at the end of the slide, armor will be refilled based on the slide's duration.

  • Oxidation (Vladof Repkit): Restores a percentage of your current gun's ammo based on the percentage of health restored.

  • Loiter Sploiter (Torgue Heavy Weapon Ordnance): Hits spawn MIRV missiles, which also spawn their own mini-MIRVs on impact!

Earn new desert-chic rewards through gameplay with an all new Vault Card, packed with 24 cosmetic items and four pieces of rerollable gear to unlock! Here's the full rundown of the new unlocks:

• 4 rerollable pieces of Legendary gear:

  • Divided Glow (Order Assault Rifle): Primary fire deals Radiation damage, with a weapon shield that has an increased chance to reflect bullets. Enemies hit by those reflected projectiles take increased Radiation damage.

  • Eradication (Vladof Assault Rifle): On kill, this automatically fires its underbarrel grenade launcher at nearby enemies with increased damage.

  • Stealth & Seek (Maliwan Sniper Rifle): Projectiles that attach to enemies or the environment will continuously fire their own stream of projectiles at nearby targets.

  • Pressure Kettle (Daedalus Grenade Ordnance): Throws five grenades by default. Cooking before the throw will reduce that number but increase the damage and velocity of each grenade.

• 1 Unique Head for each base game Vault Hunter

• 4 Vault Hunter Skins usable by all Vault Hunters

• 5 Weapon Skins

• 5 Vehicle Skins

• 4 ECHO-4 Drone Skins

• 2 ECHO-4 Attachments

Playing Borderlands 4 with a Vault Card active gives you more loot and XP via Daily and Weekly Challenges, and can be leveled up at your own pace (no time limits or expiring rewards). Once you own a Bounty Pack's Vault Card, you can activate that Vault Card via the Vault Card screen in your ECHO menu. Vault Card progression works just like leveling up: it's all driven by how much XP you're gaining. By exploring Kairos, killing enemies, and completing quests, you'll fill up your Vault Card progression in addition to your regular XP!

Looking ahead, September 10 is our next major milestone, with the paid DLC of Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort, Loveless the Hacker, and both parts of Bounty Pack 5 all going live alongside the Version 1.10 update. We'll be sharing more details about those content drops in an upcoming episode of the Gearbox DevCast, so keep a lookout for it in the coming weeks!

As a quick refresher, owning Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition gets you all of the content from the Bounty Pack Bundle (Bounty Packs 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Vault Hunter Pack (Story Packs 1 and 2), while Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition gets you the Bounty Pack Bundle.
