Bug

Im having a problem with launching the game. Steam says that im playing it but game doesnt start. Tried couple of times and did same. Im using windows 8.

is your os not windows 8.1 but windows 8 ?
when you start , no error message ? no window ? no sound ?

I have windows 8.1 game launch really stucks my system, it says that game is running all the time, even after i restart pc. There are no error messages, pico park window doesnt show up on screen when i launch it, however it appears on bottombar but when i click it doesnt pop up. Have to try with my another computer with windows 7.

Did same with win7 and gave error: "Steam client bootstrapper is not responding"

do you have single monitor ? dual monitor ?
do you get win7 error when you launch this game ?

and once please try follwing.
1. you open following folder
(steam install folder)\Steam\steamapps\common\PICO PARK\save
2. you open "userdata.lua" with texteditor.
3. you change "isFullscreen=1" to "isFullscreen=0"

please confirm if window appear.

I have single monitor. Only thing i have in steamapps folder is sourcemods folder an libraryfolders.vdf. I cant hear any sounds. That bootstrapper error is the only one i have got. Now i cant try to launch it again because steam says the game is running all the time, even when i have shut down pc. I have tried to find it from task manager but havent found. What name does it have in task manager?

this process name is "pico_park.exe"
can you find this name in task manager ?

In the first place,is not there "PICO PARK" folder in steamapps ?
PICO PARK folder must be in steamapps.

I think if this game is installed on your pc correctly.

There is no pico park on task manager. I was able to get into common files and that save folder but save folder is empty. I managed to uninstall the game in offline mode and deleting pico park folder. I did fresh install and same thing happened, game not responding and my status is stuck to in game. Never had same problem with other games.

if possible , please try following.

1. go to http://picoparkgame.com/en/
2. download alpha version.

3. confirm if you can lauch pico_park_dx9.exe

Finally i had time to try solve this again. I found that avast was blocking Pico park and caused the strange behavior. Thanks for your help. Happy now that it works :)

I was trying to get on pico park with my friend and it makes the noise that he joined but he cant move
