Gold medal succes

Hello,
I managed to achieve a gold medal in overall rank in speedrun mode but the achievement was not unlocked...
Does anyone know why?

Was it a gold medal in a continuous full run, or is it just showing on your sum of best screen?

No... the overall run has to be gold, so you need to start from the beggining and get to the end with an overall score of gold, doing them separately does not count

I did three full run in gold medal with and without the secret boss but my gold medal achievement is still unlocked....

From what I've gathered it's an issue with the game never re-checking your achievements.

Achievements sometimes fail to unlock if your internet drops or steam is down for a second.

Most games usually re-check achievements at certain points, however if the game never
re-checks achievements you may need to do them again and if the game already considers the achievement unlocked you may have to edit or completely reset your save file.

Thank you for your help.

I completely reset my backup by uninstalling the game and deleting all the files.
I also blocked the saves on Steam Cloud to avoid recovering my old backup.

So, I had to redo the entire game, but once I got the speedrun mode back, I did my full run with a gold medal and finally achieved the last 'Gold Medal' achievement.

Thank you so much because not being able to platinum my game despite my performance was driving me crazy.
