Hell nah. I presume you did not try to speedrun it or finish it with a different sword. My playtime is about 20 hours and I still dont have Hard mode achievement but I can remember OST really well. Delusive Bunker or Full Confession gives me same thrills which I got first time hearing that OST in my first playthrough. Trying to achieve gold medal in speedrun mode was even more intense with that banging OST.

IMHO it is not your fault, you probably played it in different way than me. I really wanted to feel the story and its plot, reveal secrets and maybe that's why OST is so memorable for me. Your experience sounds just like you slashed your way through enemies and skipped all cutscenes. :D: I am sure that's not the case, just sayin'. Maybe try to replay the game? It is up to you. :tobdog:

take it easy man, you already expressed your discontent with the game in an older topic, I disagree but you are not wrong, you can dislike the game, is not forbidden, but an issue with the game? what is memorable for each one is subjective, is not a perfect game but a failure? common man, is just not for you and that's fine, not every game is for everyone, you are just looking in the wrong place, devolver digital is the publisher of both games, not the developer, hotline miami and katana zero were made by Askiisoft and Dennaton Games respectively, just to clarify

Do you peck the buttons to write? Because your short memory makes me think you're a pigeon.

Honestly I kind of agree with you the story, especially w/ the soundtrack. I just beat the game and I can't really tell you what it's about.

I wouldn't say this game is a total failure by any means though - It's a very fun idea with a good gameplay loop. But the soundtrack just feels like Diet Hotline Miami generic techno. HM 1+2 had some of the most incredible OST's in gaming, and this just falls pretty flat in comparison. Maybe it's unfair to compare though.

Also the story is edgy for edgy-ness sake and is super messy while also being kinda forgetful. The protagonist has basically no arc aside from learning who he is, and there's not really any character development aside from a bit of a backstory.

So uh...partially agree? idk. I have mixed feelings about this game.

maybe that is the point .. just so that you can play it again as if the first time .... for me i think this game feels great, engaging story plot ..
The OP is a disgusting person entirely and all his reviews are just horrible but I'll comment on this one specifically.

The game may seem un-memorable because you cannot understand it, which isn't an issue it's totally cool but maybe if you take the time to look into the dossiers, the characters and what happens through each stage you can grasp the concept and comprehend what's really going on. Just a bare playthrough of each stage without taking the time to read and look into it is what makes it seem 'un-memorable'. The soundtrack or music in game is personal preference i guess, I (and many others) enjoy the music but that's neither here nor there

The game has a great story, and it's great that the developer is still putting work into it and trying to release a full on DLC to continue the story and add more lore. this game and hotline miami both are great games that don't just give you the story in dialogue, you have to actually look behind the scenes which is what i love about both of the games so much.

Personally the things i don't like in the game is the motorcycle mission and the headhunter fights, they were both too short and meant nothing for what they were. They kill two 'major' characters and they basically did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you just proceed with the game. but regardless of that there are multiple things you can do in the game for extra content like the achievements, i've been replaying over and over trying to get a gold speedrun and 100% the game. I'm 3 achievements off and then after that i'll wait for DLC to earn more achievements and finish the story completely

I don't know what you mean is super messy, it's very thorough and doesn't leave too many holes that you can't fit in yourself w/ a little bit of thinking. And imo the protagonist does show character development as explained in the story. For example his interactions with the girl and his therapist, a lot shows about how he's changing and what his plans for the future are like when you kill the therapist, or when you tell the girl you are going to take her somewhere far away from the third district, he seems to want to take care of her but in his nightmares and the story they tell you about how he used to slaughter entire villages and kill kids

plot was a bit confusing and I had to replay missions again, to understand but besides that it was really good
