So is it only a Event? It wont be a thing you can just do over and over if you wanted after the end of January?

Please don't remove the mission! It's so much fun to play it over and over again. For something that was basically just shoehorned into the game, it is really well done and as a fan of the original Predator movie, I felt that atmosphere the first movie gave. I loved every minute of the mission and I would like to be able to play this mission again down the road. I have many of the Predator games, but this mission gave gameplay that was top notch as far as Predator games go. None of the Predator games quite capture that feel that this mission gives.

Here's a hint for taking it out:
Use thermal optics
It is faint, but it does have a heat signature when invisible, similar to a soldier in armor.
When it drops invisiblity, it becomes easily visible red and orange.

And yes, it can be shot when invisible.

There's an ammo box so there's no need to be stingy with your shots.

Also, when it appears and begins to attack, if you hit it a few times it will fall back before firing.

Finally, headphones with surround sound of some kind will allow you to track its direction by the sound it makes, and improves the atmosphere and tension of the fight.

V Someones mad they can't beat the Predator.

This mission, Yall wanted to nail the atmosphere and I feel like you did just that. I thought it might be a multi mission thing so my team of three and I weren't ready when he came out to fight. We were a little disappointed he didnt try to stake one of us but understand how that would'a been hard to balance. Great job, fun bit of gameplay, shame it's going away.

Thanks for the Predator Event. Completed this mission solo with bots at lvl 29. It's not so hard. :)

As a HUGE fan of the Predator and Alien franchises (Pred especially) I was so sad to learn that this was a thing today! I actually own the game because it came with my 1080 ti but have never played it. I would've got right into it and did what I needed to do if I caught this earlier. I don't even know if this event is still going but I'm going to go see...if I even can? This is awesome though and I hope you guys keep it around or at least bring it back later. Here's to the movie in August!
